Launched in 1992 as a lingerie, homewear and nightwear producer, I.D. Sarrieri has become an international brand in the luxury fashion lingerie market. Designed by Iulia Dobrin and her creative team, 55 years of lingerie experience and 500 employees, the I.D. Sarrieri collections are sold now in most of the finest lingerie boutiques and department stores worldwide, from Paris to New York and from London to Tokyo.
Iulia Dobrin is the soul, the heart and the brain of the I.D. Sarrieri brand. As a student she was already thinking of creating a luxury lingerie brand. She always had a special sensibility for stylish, refined fashion lingerie. At 25 she bought a 55 year old lingerie factory in Bucharest and started her journey in the fashion world. Having the strong thought that the ultimate sophistication of a womans style is the lingerie she wears, Iulia Dobrin created from the beginning not functional lingerie pieces, but luxurious and very special lingerie designs, for the women with a deep understanding of what a modern and stylish lifestyle means today. Now at 33, leading a very professional creative team, Iulia Dobrin has already earned an international reputation as a lingerie designer.
Her dream has become: the I.D. Sarrieri designs are worn now by Britney Spears, Nicole Kidman, and Cameron Diaz. At the Oscars, the I.D. Sarrieri lingerie was offered as gifts to big names in Hollywood like Halle Berry, Cindy Crawford, Julianne Moore, Susan Sarandon, Eva Mendes, Felicity Huffman, Keira Knightley, Charlize Theron, Reese Witherspoon and Rachel Weisz. Katie Holmes chose to wear I.D. Sarrieri lingerie at her wedding. She was wearing white silk satin, Chantilly lace and Swarovski crystals. And after seeing one of the most expected movies from Hollywood for 2006, you can say The Devil wears Prada and I.D. Sarrieri, because one of the I.D. Sarrieri collections (a beautiful bra in silk and Swarovski crystals, from the Chicago Diamonds Collection) is featured in the movie.
I.D. Sarrieri collections feature highly sophisticated lingerie designs, with very special shapes and fabrics. All the fabrics and accessories came from France and Italy. I.D Sarrieri collections are made from the most refined silk satins and Chantilly laces, as well as the Swarovski accessories and the most insignificant accessories like wires or threads. The inspiration comes often from vintage sophisticated lingerie pieces and from the most exquisite haute-couture and prêt-à-porter deluxe fashion.
